Mijn inspiratie

Since my days as a student activist, I have been intrigued by the chronic gap between proclamation and implementation, between intent and result, between promise and performance. Although this dilemma characterizes all societies, it is particularly problematic for those that are not well endowed with skills and resources.
While fatalists assert that one cannot change the resource base of an economy nor reverse history, one can reshape how factors are organized and how they are operationalized. Therein lies my enduring concern for development administration and the administration of development.
