Drs. Steef Meyknecht wint antropologische filmprijs

Drs. Steef Meyknecht

Drs. Steef Meyknecht, docent bij Culturele antropologie/Ontwikkelingssociologie (CA/OS), heeft voor zijn documentaire A Hospice in Amsterdam de Royal Anthropological Institute Film Prize 2007 Commendation. De Award werd uitgereikt op 30 juni 2007 op het Royal Anthropological Institute van de Universiteit van Manchester tijdens het 10th RAI International Festival of Ethnographic Film.

Meyknecht is fotograaf en filmmaker. Aan de Leidse universiteit heeft hij een halftijdse aanstelling waarin hij college geeft over het gebruik van foto en video in de culturele antropologie.
