Vier laureaten voor medewerkers LACDR

Lisa Chang (former PhD at Medicinal Chemistry, Leiden) has been awarded the Dutch Medicinal Chemistry Award 2005-2006 for the best thesis: Novel Ligands for the human adenosine A1 receptor. Prof.dr. Ad IJzerman accepted the award at a recent meeting of the KNCV Section of Medicinal Chemistry on her behalf as she currently resides in Australia.

Vera Brinks, PhD at the Division of Medical Pharmacology. Leiden, and Atilla Akdemir, PhD at the Division of Medicinal Chemistry Amsterdam, and have been elected as the winners of the annual PhD Competition at the LACDR Spring Symposium, April 4th, 2007. They will represent the LACDR at the FIGON Dutch Medicine Days 2007 in October.

Jurre Kamphorst (Analytical BioSciences), Sylvia Le Dévédec (Toxicology), Eva Stjernschantz (Molecular Toxicology), Liane Klok (Medical Pharmacology), and Martine Bot (Biopharmaceutics) Ewald Edink (Medicinal Chemistry Amsterdam), have been awarded the poster prizes during the LACDR Spring Symposium, April 4th, 2007.

Martine Bot, PhD at the Division of Biopharmaceutics, has been awarded a Fellowship of the Dutch Atherosclerosis Society for the best oral presentation in the field of atherosclerosis during the 10th DAS Symposium, held March 15th - 16th in Ermelo, the Netherlands.
