News 6 January 2009 The 16th IUAES World Congress will be held from July 27 to July 31, 2009 in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.
Letter to the Executive Members of the IUAES and to the Chairpersons of the Panels/Sessions December 31, 2008 Dear executive members and chairpersons, It is with your support that the 16th World Congress of the IUAES has been decided to hold in Kunming, China from July 27 till 31, 2009. I, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, sincerely welcome you to join us in the Congress or to organize panels or sessions focusing on certain topics. I also hope you can invite more scholars worldwide to join us in the Congress in July, 2009, so that we can share the latest research achievements and experience with worldwide colleagues. The Congress is a grand assembly in the international anthropological and ethnological academic field, and is a new development for the IUAES.
