  400 years of ties celebrated with new Dutch-Turkish dictionary
The new Dutch-Turkish dictionary has been completed, just in time for the celebration of 400 years of Dutch-Turkish ties. It would not have been possible without Gerjan van Schaaik and Mehmet Emin Yıldırım from Leiden University. On Wednesday 18 April the Education Minister Marja van Bijsterveldt will officially be presented with the first copy.

  Leiden legal experts launch blog
The phenomenon of the 'blog' has really taken off in the past few years. High time, then, for the Leiden Law Blog, an initiative of the Leiden Law Faculty.  More then 50 researchers are poised to give their views on current events. The authors, all specialists in prominent fields of law, are blogging in English. Their aim is to reach a worldwide audience.

The Leiden Institute for Brain and Cognition (LIBC) is concentrating increasingly on research into the role of the brain in language development. The institute has now set up the LIBC Language website that brings together all the information on this research.
