Tijd 17:00 – 19:00 uur
Faculteit Wiskunde en Natuurwetenschappen

Upcoming Thursday 13 Sep, we host the second Science meets Business (SmB) café.

We’ve invited the Leiden University Research and Innovation Services LURIS to give a short presentation of their services, followed by three pitches by diverse people working in small companies. That is, the CEO of “Compaan Design” (accelerating compute-intensive applications), a R&D chemist from “Catexel” (Unilever spin-out) and the CEO of start-up “Life Science Methods”. The discussion topic: Research spin-outs.

These (free) inspiring events serve as an informal meeting place and are open to anybody with a broad interest in Science & Business. Especially young minded people working in (Research based) companies, PhD students and MSc students, from all Science disciplines.
Registration is possible on http://linkd.in/NarxK1 and more info available on http://www.sciencemeetsbusiness.nl/smb-cafe-13-sep/, where you can also register for our monthly newsletter.

If you want to get an impression of what the SmB café is all about, see the report on the first edition at: http://www.sciencemeetsbusiness.nl/smb-cafe-21-jun/.

Hope to see you next Thursday or at one of the next editions (Thu 11 Oct, 15 Nov, 13 Dec) of the Science meets Business café!
