Studium Generale and Leiden University Research & Innovation Services (LURIS) join forces to bring you six talks from Leiden researchers about the path that led them from a scientific discovery to practical applications. This is the first of two evenings, featuring talks by physicists Marco Beijersbergen and Joost Frenken, as well as mathematician Jacqueline J. Meulman.
