On Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September 2013, the 4th annual LUCIS conference entitled ‘Common ground: Changing interpretations of public space in the Middle East among Jews, Christians and Muslims in the 19th and 20th Century’ will be held in Leiden. This conference will be organised by LUCIS and the LIRS/LUCL research group ‘Arab and its Alternatives, Religious Minorities in the Formative Years of the Middle East (1920-1950)’.
Keynote lectures: Heleen Murre-van den Berg and Daniel J. Schroeter.
Location: Boerhaave Museum, Lange St. Agnietenstraat 10, Leiden.

Admission is free but pre-registration for each day you will attend is mandatory, as we have limited seats. Please register via lucis@hum.leidenuniv.nl.
Please note that lunch (both days) will be provided; if you do not want to participate in the lunch please mention this in your mail.
